周敬恩（Jonathan C Chou），臺裔美籍詩人、精神科醫師與健康人文教育者。出生於洛杉磯，成長於臺北。他的詩集《Resemblance／與》榮獲 2023 年土星酒神節出版社艾爾瑪圖書獎（Saturnalia Books Alma Book Award）。作品散見於《漸進線期刊》（Asymptote Journal）、《突觸：健康人文期刊》（Synapsis: A Health Humanities Journal）、以及《療癒繆思》（The Healing Muse）雜誌等。他於哈佛大學受訓成為精神科醫師，專長領域包括大學心理健康、亞裔美籍族群之心理健康、以及文化精神醫學。目前任教於南加州大學凱克醫學院敘事醫學（narrative medicine）碩士班。

Jonathan C Chou (周敬恩) is a Taiwanese American poet, psychiatrist, and health humanities educator. He was born in Los Angeles and grew up in Taipei. He is the author of Resemblance / 與, winner of the 2023 Saturnalia Books Alma Book Award. His writing has appeared in Asymptote, Synapsis: A Health Humanities Journal, The Healing Muse, and elsewhere. He is a Harvard-trained psychiatrist with specialties in university mental health, Asian American mental health, and cultural psychiatry. He teaches in the Master of Science in Narrative Medicine program at the Keck School of Medicine of the University of Southern California.

「慷慨」開啟了某種可能，讓我們悉心照料、傾聽，進而在其中迎來改變。

身為創作者，我們都曾受惠於他人的慷慨、信念與關懷。與此同時，「文學公民」（Literary citizenship）的概念也提醒著我們，運用手中的文字與聲音為他人發聲、並想像一個更公正且平等的未來，既是一種能力，更是一份責任。

本場「敘事醫學」工作坊將以詩人周敬恩生命中「詩歌與醫學」的交織作為起點，邀請參與者反思照護（Care）、創作（Creativity）與社群（Community）這三者與自身工作及生活的關聯。創意實踐是否能成為「關懷倫理」的基礎？在照護與創作的交會空間中，又能為社群團結與集體解放創造出什麼樣的可能性？

在講者簡短的分享後，工作坊將引導參與者根據一系列題目進行書寫練習，並展開分組討論。

As writers, we have all benefited from other people's generosity, faith, and care. Simultaneously, the notion of literary citizenship suggests the ability — and a responsibility — to use our voices and words to advocate for others, to imagine more just and equitable futures. Taking the entanglement of poetry and medicine in my life as a starting point, this "narrative medicine" workshop invites participants to reflect on the relationship between care, creativity, and community as it pertains to their own work and lives. Can creative practice form the basis of an ethics of care? What possibilities for community, solidarity, and collective liberation emerge from the space between care and creativity? Following a brief presentation, participants will be invited to write to a series of prompts and engage in group discussion.
